Who is Couchkat?

Couchkat is an online shop based in Munich run by me - Katharina, who has a love for beautiful design and giving my friends unique gifts that show my love and thoughts for them. Hence, I specialize in exclusive decoration design and offer a diverse selection of unique products for sale. It is important that every article has a story to be a unique gift idea. I choose every article with care, making sure it means something and tells something. Because it is not things that we remember, but stories, dreams and special moments.

Where did the idea for the products come from?
​
Inspired by a busy world life in a corporate environment,2 things became obvious (1) There is often a lack of time and creativity to come up with a unique idea or gift, that we would like to give someone we love and (2) sometimes life is so stressful, lots of pressure, that listening to a story to flee into a different reality, even if it is just for a short moment, is looking like great big gift to cope with day to day life. Therefore, making sure the stories are no longer than 1 page is a must for me, giving you all the benefits of a short reality break with little time to invest reading. Yet, the stories do not lack on creativity to give you the chance for a short moment to dive in another world, into a story that links to your gift, no matter if you give a candle, glass ball, vase, bowl or anything you can find on this website. Just find the right story or buy a product with the story. It is the unique touch and thought(s) that counts.
